SIJHL preseason begins tonight
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Preseason action in the Superior International Junior Hockey League begins tonight as the Minnesota Iron Rangers host the Fort Frances Lakers in a 7 p.m. start at Hoyt Lakes Arena.
This will be the first of five exhibition contests that are currently scheduled.
Thursday night sees Minnesota at home again when they take on the Thunder Bay North Stars.
After that Fort Frances and Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League will play a home-and-home Sept. 4 and 11 starting at Ice for Kids Arena with both match-ups featuring 7:30 p.m. starts.
The Lakers will also take on the Iron Rangers on Sept. 14 at The Duke at Couchiching Arena.
Any further preseason contests will be announced once finalized.
