SIJHL announces suspension
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced Thursday the following player suspension for his actions in SIJHL Game No. 21, Minnesota Iron Rangers @ Fort Frances Lakers, at Ice for Kids Arena on Tuesday, Oct. 14:
COLTON SPICER, (F) FORT FRANCES LAKERS – THREE (3) GAMES
In the opening minute of the third period, Spicer delivered a high hit to the head of a Minnesota player.
Although no penalty was assessed on the play, following a video incident review, Spicer is suspended three games under Supplementary Discipline.
This suspension will be served during the following games:
SIJHL Game No. 22 – Thursday, Oct. 16 @ Minnesota
SIJHL Game No. 26 – Saturday, Oct. 18 vs. English River
SIJHL Game No. 27 – Tuesday, Oct. 21 vs. Dryden
