Lakers tabbed 14th in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League’s Fort Frances Lakers remain in the pack in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Pointstreak Top 20 weekly rankings released today.

The SIJHL-leading Lakers were slotted 14th in the ratings, which are compiled each week in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

Fort Frances sports the best record in the SIJHL with a 20-7-0-1 mark giving them 41 points and a .731 winning percentage.

There was no change this week in the rankings for the top three teams in the CJHL as the Portage Terriers (MJHL), Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL) and Penticton Vees (BCHL) remain first, second and third respectively.

The following is the Pointstreak CJHL top 20 rankings along with five honourable mention teams for the period ending Dec. 14:
