Weather forces cancellation of North Stars – Ice Dogs in Dryden tonight
THUNDER BAY – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday that this evening’s scheduled game in Dryden between the hometown Ice Dogs and the Thunder Bay North Stars has been postponed due to weather.
The same weather system that brought blizzard-like conditions to western Canada earlier in the week has brought heavy snow, excessive wind gusts and adverse road conditions into northwestern Ontario, thus for the safety for all those concerned, the contest has been cancelled.
A make-up date for the game will be announced once it is finalized.
