THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Former Superior International Junior Hockey League and Minnesota Iron Rangers goaltender Alex Reichle was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s hockey player of the week for his efforts concluding Nov. 9.

The sophomore netminder for the Concordia Cobbers was recognized for his efforts helping his side post a two-game sweep of Saint John’s over the weekend in MIAC play.

In all he stopped 69 of 72 shots fired his way.

So far in 2015, Reichle leads the MIAC with three wins while ranking second with a .935 save percentage and third in average at 2.00.
