SIJHL announces suspension
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced Friday the following suspension resulting from an incident during SIJHL Game No. 8, Thief River Falls Norskies @ Minnesota Iron Rangers, played on Friday, Sept. 30.
COLE THOMPSON, MINNESOTA IRON RANGERS – TWO (2) GAMES
Thompson is suspended under Supplemental Discipline for his actions for a cross-checking incident in the first period in the game vs. Thief River Falls.
The player will miss the following games while under league suspension:
SIJHL Game No. 13: Friday. Oct.7 vs. Thief River Falls
SIJHL Game No. 15: Saturday, Oct. 8 vs. Fort Frances
