Lakers remain No. 13 in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The latest Canadian Junior Hockey League Pointstreak Top 20 weekly rankings announced Monday has the Fort Frances Lakers of the Superior International Junior Hockey League maintaining their place in the national listings.

Fort Frances was slotted No. 13 in the 129-team CJHL for another week in the CJHL rankings, which are compiled in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

The defending SIJHL Bill Salonen Cup champion and 2015 Dudley-Hewitt Cup host Lakers remain in first place in the league standings with an 11-5-0-1 record.

They are three points clear of second place Thunder Bay, with the 10-5 North Stars holding two games in hand on Fort Frances.

The 2015 RBC Cup host Terriers, who are 18-1-1, are now No. 2 in the CJHL while the 22-4 Carleton Place Canadians stay at No. 3 for another week.
