Iron Rangers welcome Fazio back to line-up

HOYT LAKES – The Minnesota Iron Rangers have welcomed back a player from last year’s squad that played a pivotal role in the club advancing all the way to the Bill Salonen Cup final in the Superior International Junior Hockey League.

Forward Thomas Fazio has rejoined the Iron Rangers after a brief stint earlier this season with Amarillo of the NAHL.

The 19-year-old Fazio led Minnesota in assists in 2013-14 with 34 and also finished fifth in overall team scoring with 14 goals as part of a 48-point campaign.

The Mequon, Wis., native chipped in with 10 points in 17 playoff games as well.

“Thomas was a huge part of our success last season,” stated Iron Rangers head coach and general manager Chris Walby.

“He was an anchor on the power play last season and has added speed and size to his game this year,” added Walby.
