Iron Rangers’ Losurdo named SIJHL’s best defensive forward

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced today that Jonathon Losurdo of the Minnesota Iron Rangers has been named the recipient of the SIJHL’s best defensive forward award for the 2013-14 season.

Losurdo edged out Lyndon Lipinski of the Fort Frances Lakers and Trevor Hynnes of the Thunder Bay North Stars for the honour.

The 20-year-old native of Elmhurst, Ill., was recognized in balloting done by each of the respective team coaches and general managers.
