THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight’s game (Friday, Jan. 17) between the Thunder Bay North Stars and Fort Frances Lakers at Ice for Kids Arena has been postponed.
The cause of the postponement is due to a heavy snowfall warning that is in effect for the area, which is expected to bring up to 25 centimetres of snow, along with high winds and poor visibility on the roads in the region.
A make-up date for this game will be announced by the SIJHL once it is finalized.
