2015 Dudley-Hewitt Cup Host Committee brings aboard OJHL Images

FORT FRANCES, Ont. — The 2015 Dudley-Hewitt Cup Committee and the Fort Frances Lakers of the Superior International Junior Hockey League have announced that OJHL Images will be responsible to provide licensing and digital distribution of all images from the 2015 Dudley-Hewitt Cup Central Canada Junior ‘A’ Championship this April at Ice for Kids Arena in Fort Frances.

OJHL Images Director of Photography Tim Bates stated, “Our photographers have been recognized for their exceptional image quality, work ethic and professionalism, and they have become a highly sought after commodity.”

“The Fort Frances Dudley-Hewitt Committee is prepared to have OJHL Images provide their professional services for imaging at the 2015 Dudley-Hewitt Cup from April 28 to May 2, being hosted by the hometown Fort Frances Lakers,” said Tournament Committee Chairperson Larry Patrick.

The OJHL Images program is composed of both amateur and professional sports photographers, who gain extensive photography experience working in the OJHL. Photographers include those working in the NHL, NFL, and FIFA.

In just under three years since the program’s inception, OJHL Images has been featured in major sporting publications, while being recognized in the sporting community for their excellence in sports photography. Recent assignments include World Cup Lacrosse, Team Canada East Selection Camp, OHA Awards and the recent IIHF World Junior Championship.

Mr. Bates stated what he is most proud of is our relationship with the players, “They have embraced the OJHLI program and we as photographers are humbled at the opportunity to chronicle their athleticism.”
