SIJHL announces Iron Rangers- Miners playoff series schedule
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday the game schedule for the upcoming first round series between the No. 4 Minnesota Iron Rangers and the No. 5 English River Miners.
This best-of-five set will commence on Wednesday, March 23 at Ear Falls Arena with the Miners serving as the home team.
The series will then shift to Hoyt Lakes Arena for Games 2 & 3 on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 respectively.
If required, Game 4 will be held on Monday, March 28 at Cochenour Arena in Red Lake.
Should it go the distance, Game 5 is slated for Wednesday, March 30 in Hoyt Lakes.
All scheduled games in this series feature 7 p.m. CT start times.
The winner will meet the No. 1 seeded Fort Frances Lakers in SIJHL semifinal action.
The No. 2 Dryden GM Ice Dogs will square off against the No. 3 Thunder Bay North Stars in the other league semifinal match-up.
