SIJHL announces suspensions
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced Tuesday suspensions from the following game:
Thunder Bay @ Minnesota – SIJHL Game No. 19 – Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014
ALEX ARNOLD, (D) MINNESOTA IRON RANGERS – THREE (3) GAMES
At 10:23 of the 3rd period – Arnold was assessed a Major Penalty for Cross Checking and a subsequent automatic Game Misconduct under Rule 8.2 (b).
Arnold is suspended one game under Rule 4.6 (c) and an additional two games under Supplementary Discipline.
Arnold will miss the following games:
SIJHL Game No. 21 – Tuesday, Oct. 14 @ Fort Frances
SIJHL Game No. 22 – Thursday, Oct. 16 vs. Fort Frances
SIJHL Game No. 23 – Friday, Oct. 17 vs. English River
KRIS HAMLIN, (F) THUNDER BAY NORTH STARS – ONE (1) GAME
At 13:26 of the 3rd period – Hamlin was assessed a minor penalty for Checking from Behind and subsequent automatic Game Misconduct under Rule 6.4 (a).
Hamlin is suspended one game under Rule 4.6 (c).
Hamlin will miss the following game:
