North Stars 13th in CJHL preseason rankings

CALGARY – The Canadian Junior Hockey League have have announced their top 20 preseason rankings heading into the 2013-14 campaign.

The lone SIJHL club listed were the Thunder Bay North Stars who were tabbed 13th in the ratings copiled in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting.

Earning the nod as the No. 1 team overall heading into the season are the defending RBC Cup champion Brooks Bandits of Alberta.

The pre-season rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, last season’s results in regular season and playoffs, as well as initial recruiting efforts for the upcoming season.
