Import Defenseman Will Wickersham from Richmond, Virginia became an instant fan favorite on and off the ice with his hard work ethic and his never ending service in the community.

The Miners Assistant Captain was rewarded with the Miners best defenseman award this past season as well as the community service award.

Next season Wickersham will be manning the blueline in the ECAC for Nichols College . In the 44 games for the Miners he had four goals and six assists.
