Wilderness move to fifth in CJHL rankings
The latest Canadian Junior Hockey League top 20 rankings are out and the Minnesota Wilderness of the Superior International Junior Hockey League have moved up another two notches and now sit No. 5 overall.
The two-time defending Bill Salonen Cup champion Wilderness hold down top spot in the SIJHL standings with a 17-3 record having won five in a row while going 10-1 in their past 11 outings.
Their .850 winning percentage is currently the fifth best mark across the 128-team CJHL.
Rolling along with an unblemished 20-0 run to start the Alberta Junior Hockey League campaign, the Brooks Bandits remain the No. 1 ranked team in the CJHL again this week in the listings comprised by the CJHL in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting.
The Truro Bearcats of the Maritime Hockey League suffered their first loss in regulation time over the weekend, but despite the setback hold on to their No. 2 overall rating nationally with the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League rounding out the top three.

The weekly rankings are based upon a variety of factors, including the league in which the teams play, winning percentage, win-loss record, total points accumulated, goals-for versus goals-against ratio, etc.
The CJHL is an amalgamation of 10 Jr. A hockey leagues from across Canada.
