Iron Rangers’ Stoyle off to Marian University of ACHA

HOYT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Iron Rangers of the Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that forward Sheamus Stoyle has committed to attend school at Marian University in suburban Fond du Lac, Wis., and play for the Sabres’ American Collegiate Hockey Association program.

An assistant captain for the Iron Rangers last season, Stoyle suited up in 53 SIJHL contests where he scored six times and added a pair of assists.

The 21-year-old Stoyle hails from Merriman, Utah.

“Sheamus led by example and was always the last one off the ice after practice, putting in extra time to make himself better,” stated Minnesota head coach Todd Kreibich.

“He has great character and always put the team first. We wish him the best of luck at Marian and in the future,” added coach Kreibich.
