In three outings last week, the 19-year-old native of International Falls, Minn., amassed two goals and six assists helping the league-leading Lakers pick-up five out of a possible six points in the SIJHL standings.

Meyer began with an assist in a 5-4 shootout setback in Thunder Bay Tuesday then tallied twice and set-up one more the following evening in a 6-5 shootout triumph in Hoyt Lakes vs. Minnesota and eventually capped off his week by dishing out four assists in a 6-1 victory at home this past Friday against Wisconsin.

The Fort Frances forward is currently riding a six-game point streak and has also gotten on the score sheet in 11 of his past 12 contests.

His 28 total points places him second on the Lakers in offensive production as well as fifth overall in the SIJHL.

Also earning consideration for Pizza Hut player of the week laurels were Greg Harney, (G) English River Miners, Matthias Gardiman, (F) Thunder Bay North Stars, Chris Sitco, (F) Dryden Ice Dogs, Thomas Fazio, (F) Minnesota Iron Rangers and Tanner Vinson, (D) Wisconsin Wilderness.
