THUNDER BAY, Ont. – As the Superior International Junior Hockey League’s 15th season gets underway tonight it has announced the launch a new website for the SIJHL and its member clubs, which also features a real-time scoring system.

The league’s website location remains at www.sijhlhockey.com, but has been redone after the SIJHL joined in partnership with HockeyTech, to provide the most comprehensive suite of digital tools and services available today.

Among the other leagues HockeyTech currently provides their website and real-time statistical services for are the OHL, QMJHL, WHL, AHL and the ECHL.

Each of the member teams, coaching staffs, players and fans will be able to access real-time stats on team and league designed websites, built by HockeyTech.

“Our partnership with HockeyTech will allow the SIJHL and our member teams an opportunity to provide more for all those with interest in the SIJHL, from the players, team staffs, scouts and most importantly the fans,” offered SIJHL Commissioner Bryan Graham.

“The new and improved SIJHL website, as well as sites for each of our member clubs, will allow us further promote our league, our organization and all those associated our league,” added Graham.

The 2015-16 season begins tonight as the English River Miners host the Minnesota Iron Rangers at 7 p.m. while the Dryden GM Ice Dogs entertain the Thunder Bay North Stars.
