SIJHL announces suspension
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced Friday the following suspension resulting from an incident during SIJHL Preseason Game No. 2, English River Miners @ Dryden GM Ice Dogs, played on Sunday, Sept. 11.
NIC NOSEWORTHY, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – THREE (3) GAMES
Noseworthy in suspended three (3) games for incurring a major penalty for head contact and subsequent automatic game misconduct during the first period of the preseason game vs. the Miners (Rule 6.5 D) under the CJHL Supplement.
The player will miss the following games while under league suspension:
Preseason Game No. 5: Saturday. Sept.17 vs. English River
Regular Season Game No. 1: Friday, Sept. 23 vs. English River
Regular Season Game No. 4: Saturday, Sept. 24 vs. Thief River Falls
