SIJHL announces suspension
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham has announced the following suspension resulting from an incident during SIJHL Game No. 119, English River Miners @ Fort Frances Lakers, played on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
MIKE NORRIS, ENGLISH RIVER MINERS – ONE (1) GAME
Norris is suspended one game for his actions in Tuesday’s game at Fort Frances.
In the first period, Norris delivered a high hit to the head area of a Fort Frances player causing injury.
Although no penalty was assessed on the play, following a video review, the player is suspended one game under Supplementary Discipline.
The player will miss the following game:
