SIJHL announces suspension
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham has announced the following suspension:
DEREK MCPHAIL, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – ONE (1) GAME
McPhail is suspended one (1) game for his actions in SIJHL Game No. 74, Thunder Bay North Stars @ Dryden GM Ice Dogs, played on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015.
He is suspended for the one game under Supplementary Discipline for leaving his feet and delivering a high hit to the head area of a Thunder Bay player during the final minute of the first period of the game in question.
McPhail’s suspension will be served during the following game:
Game No. 76 – Saturday, Jan. 2 vs. Thunder Bay
