The Red Lake Miners of the Superior International Junior Hockey League are accepting applications for the Head Coach/GM position.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible For All Aspects Of On Ice Operations
Coaching and Player Development
Know NCAA, Canadian University, Collegiate hockey programs and be committed to advance players to next level
Ensure team involvement in Community Volunteerism
Follow and Honour the Bylaws and Policies of the Organization
Qualifications
Coaching experience with junior aged players preferred
Playing experience at a high level of competition preferred
Hockey Canada coaching accreditation (willing to take courses if necessary)
Effective organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills – both verbal & written
Ability and desire to work long hours, evenings, weekends as necessary
Provide a criminal record check
Salary commensurate with experience, knowledge and ability
