North Stars Arabia named SIJHL – Play It Again Sports player of the week
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Monday that Thunder Bay North Stars forward Brad Arabia has been named its Play It Again Sports player of the week for the period ending Dec. 4.
In three outings last week, Arabia had multiple points in each of them while registering a co-league-high seven in total helping the North Stars skate to a trio of victories.
He began by notching the game-winner and adding an assist as Thunder Bay defeated visiting Fort Frances this past Wednesday.
Arabia followed that up with five more points, including two more tallies, over the weekend helping the North Stars sweep a two-game set over the Minnesota Iron Rangers at the Fort William Gardens.
This marks the second time this season the 20-year-old Thunder Bay product has garnered SIJHL weekly accolades.
On the season Arabia has now scored goals in four straight contests and sits third overall in SIJHL offensive production with 32 points on 15 markers and 17 assists.
Also earning consideration for Play It Again Sports player of the week honours were the following:
