THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Monday that Thief River Falls Norskies forward Nick Harder has been named its Play It Again Sports Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 16.
In two outings last week, the 20-year-old Luverne, Minn., product racked up seven points helping lead Thief River Falls to a pair of victories.
Harder began with a goal and two assists in a home ice triumph over Dryden on Friday before tacking on a career single-game-high four points in a road victory at Red Lake Sunday, that featured him providing a pair of tallies along with two helpers.
He has already set new personal single-season marks in goals, assists and points this season with 21, 11 and 32 respectively.
In 102 career SIJHL contests, Harder has registered 47 points, including 26 goals.
