Norskies’ Bjorge named SIJHL Performer of the Month for December

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Thursday that Thief River Falls Norskies forward Boe Bjorksi has been named its Performer of the Month for December.

In nine outings during the time frame, the 20-year-old from Grand Forks, N.D., etched his name on the score sheet in all of them as he notched a combined eight goals and 11 assists to wrap-up 2018 in style.

Currently riding an impressive 17-game point streak, Bjorge paces Thief River Falls in scoring and sits third overall among all SIJHL skaters with 46 points on 19 tallies and 27 helpers.

Also earning consideration for the SIJHL’s performer of the month award for February was Keighan Gerrie, (F) Thunder Bay North Stars; Michael Di Lullo, (F) Red Lake Miners; Trey Palermo, (F) Dryden GM Ice Dogs; Jaedin Ness, (F) Fort Frances Lakers and Joshua Baker, (F) Minnesota Iron Rangers.
