Highway closure causes postponement of tonight’s Dryden – Fort Frances contest

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight’s game (Friday, Jan. 10) between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Fort Frances Lakers at Ice for Kids Arena has been postponed.

The cause of the postponement is due to a closure on the Trans Canada Highway, following a significant accident.

This in turn is preventing traffic, including the Dryden team bus, from being able to travel through the region and make it in time to Fort Frances for the game.

A make-up date for this match-up will be announced by the SIJHL once it is finalized.
