DRYDEN, Ont. – The Dryden GM Ice Dogs got a pair of goals and an assist from Braeden Allkins to help them skate to a 6-1 triumph over the Minnesota Iron Rangers Sunday afternoon in the final Superior International Junior Hockey League contest of 2016 at Memorial Arena.

Dryden took a 2-0 lead after one period of play on markers from Derek McPhail and Trey Palermo.

Allkins picked up his first of the day five minutes into the third before Korey Muzzy got one back for Minnesota at 10:45.

Dryden then finished things off with efforts from Braedyn Aubin and Allkins to secure the victory.
