Fort Frances still 7th in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced their latest Pointstreak Top 20 rankings Monday and Fort Frances Lakers of the Superior International Junior Hockey League continue to hold their place in the listings.

Fort Frances was once again tabbed seventh overall in the 131-team CJHL in the weekly rankings, which are compiled in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

The Lakers still sits atop the overall SIJHL standings with an impressive 32-6-0-1 overall record and 65 points.

They also boast a winning percentage .833, which is among the top squads in the CJHL.

A change at No. 1 this week sees the Penticton Vees (BCHL) slotted as the top side in the CJHL with the Soo Thunderbirds (NOJHL) slipping to No. 2.

The defending RBC Cup champion Portage Terriers (MJHL) remains third overall for another week.
