Fort Frances remains 7th in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced their latest Pointstreak top 20 rankings Monday and one Superior International Junior Hockey League club earned recognition.

The SIJHL-leading Fort Frances Lakers held on to their seventh overall placing in the 131-team CJHL this week in the listings, which are compiled in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

Putting an end to a season-high, three-game winless drought, Fort Frances came back to post a pair of wins over the weekend and raise their overall record to 27-6-0-1.

The defending Dudley-Hewitt Cup champion Soo Thunderbirds (NOJHL) is the new No. 1 club in the CJHL this week.

Moving to No. 2 was the Penticton Vees (BCHL) while last week’s leader, the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL), slipped to No. 3 overall.
