CALGARY, Alta. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Tuesday it has entered into partnership on a multi-year deal with HockeyTech the leading data services company for the sport of hockey to provide its comprehensive suite of digital tools and services for the league, effective immediately.
As part of the agreement, HockeyTech, in conjunction with the CJHL, has launched a new and improved league website at cjhlhockey.com as it relates to the 10 leagues and 133 member clubs that comprise the CJHL across Canada and pockets in the northern U.S.
The CJHL and HockeyTech will also soon be introducing new websites for each of its four regional championship events; the Fred Page Cup (Eastern Canada), Dudley-Hewitt Cup (Central Canada), ANAVET Cup (Manitoba & Saskatchewan) and the Doyle Cup (Alberta & British Columbia).
These sites will provide real-time statistics along with other pertinent information such as news, game schedules, competing team rosters, historical data, corporate partnerships and numerous relevant details for each member club, coaching staffs, players, fans and scouts who will be able to access each of the CJHL regional sites online via computers, or through tablets, mobile devices and apps.
In announcing the partnership with HockeyTech, CJHL President Brent Ladds offered the following comments:
“In recent years, HockeyTech has become a principle provider of technology to the CJHL, including HockeyTV, web and statistical platforms, Trade Center and now our national and regional championship websites,” stated Ladds.
“The growth of our relationship, has evolved into a solid business partnership supporting all 10 CJHL leagues across Canada and for fans seeking an ongoing knowledge of all the CJHL programs,” added Ladds.
Of the 10 CJHL leagues, seven are also currently operating under the HockeyTech platform.
They include the Maritime Hockey League (MHL); Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL); Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL); Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL); Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL); Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).
