Brenden Gust named Interim Head Coach of the TRF Norskies

Born and raised in Grand Forks. Brenden played for Grand Forks Central from 2007-2010. After HS Brenden was drafted by the Aberdeen Wings in the North American Hockey league playing there from 2010-2011. He also spent time playing in the WSHL for the El Paso Rhinos and coming back and playing for the Minot Minotauros in the NAHL (2012-2013). After hockey Brenden was an assistant for coach Grand Forks Central (2013-2014). On top of being an Assistant for Grand Forks, Brenden also coached for Team North Dakota U18s before going back to school and graduating from NCTC in East Grand forks with his degree as a Health and Fitness Specialist. Brenden is currently running/operating Gust Hockey LLC that specializes in Player skill development, Power Skating techniques and Strength and conditioning.

As assistant coach of the Norskies, Brenden has developed our film based hockey and skating skill development program with great success.
Elliot Bates has resigned from his position with the Norskies.
