Lakers slip to 6th in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Fort Frances Lakers remain the lone Superior International Junior Hockey League representative in the latest edition of the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Pointstreak top 20 rankings, which were released Monday.

After a 1-1-1 week the SIJHL-leading Lakers slipped to sixth in the CJHL listings, which are compiled in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

Fort Frances continues to sit in top spot in the SIJHL standings with a 17-3-0-1 record with their 35 points putting them four clear of the second place Dryden GM Ice Dogs (14-5-1-2) while also holding a game in hand.

The Penticton Vees (BCHL) are the No. 1 side in the CJHL again this week while the Soo Thunderbirds (NOJHL) and the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) round out the top three in second and third respectively.

The following is the Pointstreak CJHL top 20 rankings and five honourable mention teams for the period ending Nov. 29:
