Wilderness still No. 2 in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The weekly Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 rankings released today see the front-runner in the Superior International Junior Hockey League maintaining their place in the overall listings.

Having already clinched their third straight SIJHL regular season title, the Minnesota Wilderness are once tabbed in the No. 2 overall by the CJHL, who formulates the selections each week in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting.

The SIJHL leaders are unbeaten in regulation since Oct. 24 having gone 25-0-0-1 in that span.

Also no change among the other top three squads in the CJHL  with the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) and Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) rated first and third respectively.

Brooks holds a 45-2-3 record while the Capitals are at 35-7-2.

Summerside, who will host the 2013 Royal Bank Cup, had a 15-game winning streak snapped this past Friday in a defeat against Woodstock.
