Transportation issue causes postponement of Lakers – Miners game Tuesday
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that Tuesday’s scheduled game (October 13) between the English River Miners and Fort Frances Lakers at Ice for Kids Arena has been postponed due to transportation issues.
The English River team bus that transports the club to away games has incurred mechanical problems that will not be repaired in time for the Miners to travel to Fort Frances in time for Tuesday’s contest.
A make-up date for the postponed game will be announced once finalized.
The SIJHL, Fort Frances Lakers and English River Miners apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
