SIJHL mourns the loss of alumnus Zach Kraft

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League is mourning the loss of alumnus Zach Kraft, who has passed away following a courageous battle with brain cancer.

As a member and team captain of the Wisconsin Wilderness during the 2013-14 campaign, Kraft was injured in a game in early 2014.

After hospital visits and examination by doctors unrelated to his game injury he was sent from Wisconsin to Duluth, Minn., for further testing where his cancer was diagnosed.

Unfortunately he lost his valliant fight with the disease earlier this week.

The SIJHL offers its deepest condolences to the Kraft family during this difficult time.
