THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Thursday the following suspensions resulting from incidents following Sunday’s contest between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Thief River Falls Norskies at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
ERIC STOUT, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – TWO (2) GAMES
Player is suspended two (2) games under supplementary discipline for his actions at the 20:00-minute mark of the third period.
Stout will miss the following two games:
Sunday, Jan. 21 vs. Thief River Falls Norskies
Tuesday, Jan. 23 vs. English River Miners
MATTHEW PITCHENESE, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – TWO (2) GAMES
Player is suspended two (2) games under supplementary discipline for his actions at the 20:00-minute mark of the third period.
Pitchenese will miss the following two games:
Sunday, Jan. 21 vs. Thief River Falls Norskies
Tuesday, Jan. 23 vs. English River Miners
JOSEPH SANTALUCIA, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – TWO (2) GAMES
Player is suspended one (1) game under Hockey Canada Rule 4.6 (c) for incurring a game misconduct penalty in the final 10 minutes of regulation and an additional one (1) under supplementary discipline for his actions at the 20:00-minute mark of the third period.
Santalucia will miss the following two games:

Tuesday, Jan. 23 vs. English River Miners
