THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday the following suspension resulting from an incident Saturday during Game 2 of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs – Fort Frances Lakers semifinal series at Memorial Arena.
BRENDAN JAY, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – ONE (1) GAME
Player is suspended one (1) game under Supplementary Discipline for his actions after incurring a major penalty for boarding and a subsequent game misconduct under Hockey Canada rule 6.2 (a) at the 6:25 mark of the third period in Saturday’s contest.
Jay will miss the following game:
Tuesday, April 3 @ Fort Frances (Semifinal Series C – Game 3)
