THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday the following player suspension resulting from an incident from a game played Saturday, March 10.
MATTHEW PITCHENESE, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – THREE (3) GAMES
Player is suspended under Supplementary Discipline after incurring a minor penalty and automatic 10-minute misconduct under Hockey Canada rule 6.5 (c) for head contact at the 5:26 mark of the second period in a game vs. Thunder Bay.
Pitchenese will miss the following games:
Sunday, March 11 vs. Thief River Falls (SERVED)
Thursday, March 15 @ English River
Friday, March 16 @ Fort Frances
