THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Junior Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham has announced the following suspension resulting from an incident during the Saturday, Oct. 14 contest between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Thunder Bay North Stars at the Fort William Gardens.
SHANE MCKAY, THUNDER BAY NORTH STARS – TWO (2) GAMES
Player is suspended two (2) games under after incurring a major penalty for cross checking and subsequent game misconduct under Hockey Canada rule 8.2 (b) at the 17:39 mark of the second period in SIJHL Game No. 23 on October 14; Dryden @ Thunder Bay.
McKay will miss the following two (2) games:
SIJHL Game No. 25: Thursday, Oct. 19 @ English River
SIJHL Game No. 27: Friday, Oct. 20 @ English River
