Norskies’ Keaton Huot named SIJHL – Play It Again Sports player of the week

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Monday that Thief River Falls Norskies forward Keaton Huot has been named its Play It Again Sports player of the week for the period ending Nov. 27.

In two games this past week the 20-year-old who hails from Thief River Falls, Minn., registered six points helping the Norskies pick-up two points in the standings.

Huot began by recording his second five-point night of the season as he tallied twice and doled out three assists in his club’s 6-4 triumph over Minnesota this past Tuesday.

He then added another helper in Thief River Falls’ narrow setback to the defending champion Fort Frances Lakers on Saturday.

Currently on a modest three-game point streak, Huot has also etched his name on the scoresheet in 15 of his past 16 outings.

With 31 points in 21 games, Huot sits second in league scoring, which includes 10 goals.

In earning the accolades, Huot becomes the first Norksies player to garner SIJHL player of the week laurels in their brief history.

Also earning consideration for Play It Again Sports player of the week honours were the following:
