GM Ice Dogs’ goaltender Dennis off to Portage College of ACAC

DRYDEN, Ont. – The Dryden GM Ice Dogs is pleased to announce that goaltender Ben Dennis has committed to the Portage College Voyageurs program of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) for the upcoming school year, where he will be studying Business Management.

The 21-year old from Kenora, Ont. was co-winner of the GM Ice Dogs’ top local player award.

He had an impressive 2016-17 season in Dryden where in 23 games Dennis posted a stellar 22-0-1 won-loss-OT loss record.

His goals-against average of 2.64 was second-best in the SIJHL and he was third in save percentage at.919.

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs’ organization wishes Ben all the best in this new chapter of his life.
