GM Ice Dogs blast Iron Rangers

HOYT LAKES, Minn. – The Dryden GM Ice Dogs got hat tricks from both Kris Hamlin and Braeden Allkins along with four assists compliments of Cory Dennis as they went on to blast the Minnesota Iron Rangers 10-2 Friday evening in Superior International Junior Hockey League play at Hoyt Lakes Arena.

Jonathan Yanovsky was the lone Minnesota marksmen in the frame.

Action in the second stanza saw Hamlin notch two more to reach his three-three night while fellow GM Ice Dogs’ forward Braedyn Aubin reached the 25-goal plateau on the season as he converted during a man advantage opportunity.

Clayton Brown picked up the second Iron Rangers efforts on the night.

Allkins SIJHL-best 44th made in 9-2 before teammate Chris Atanas rounded out the scoring with his sixth of the campaign at 4:38.

Dryden outshot Minnesota 46-27 overall with Patrick Zubick picking up the win and Jackson Nelson the loss.
