CALGARY – The 2013-14 Canadian Junior Hockey League season will include a record number of events, including 10 Showcase Weekends, international events,  and four inter-league championships.

Each event will provide CJHL players with exposure to the scouting community, media and fans of the CJHL.

“I am encouraged by the new events added to the CJHL schedule each season, which offer our athletes additional opportunities for exposure and development,” said CJHL President Kirk Lamb.

“The increasing number of CJHL players and alumni that continue to advance to the NHL, to other professional leagues, to major junior and to universities and colleges across North America is proof that our players are taking advantage of these unique opportunities.”
